Drake has tweeted that he is not performing at the upcoming Grammys ceremony.
An advert for the awards aired during this weekend's Super Bowl seemed to suggest that the Canadian rapper would be among the performers on the night.
"I am not performing at the Grammy Awards... but hey it's the thought that count," he tweeted.

But, as DIY points out, the commercial could merely have been advertising who was nominated this year. It also named the likes of Ice Cube, Selena Gomez, Lionel Richie, Meghan Trainor and Nicki Minaj, none of whom have been confirmed to play.
The first raft of live performers for this year's Grammy Awards ceremony was announced last week, with Adele topping the bill. Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and country group Little Big Town were also confirmed. Taylor Swift was announced to be joining that list today (February 8).
LL Cool J will host the 2016 Grammy Awards from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 15. Lady Gaga will perform a tribute to David Bowie on the night.
The list of artists currently confirmed to perform at The Grammys 2016 is completed by Rihanna, the cast of Hamilton and Justin Bieber with the latter performing alongside Skrillex and Diplo.
